Position Summary:

The Assistant Project Manager supports the Project Manager and team with administrative, documentation, and coordination tasks and requires a strong willingness to grow professionally in the high-end construction space. As an Assistant Project Manager you will demonstrate strong organization and problem-solving skills to complete everyday tasks on the assigned project(s). This position requires a strong cultural fit, high level of integrity, a depth of knowledge and continued willingness to learn, and a pro-active, consistent approach to customer service. The Assistant Project Manager plays a vital role in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is an on-site position requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week, typically M-F 8am – 5pm, with occasional night or weekend shifts/duties as needed. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to support project needs efficiently and professionally.

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking an experienced, detail-driven Assistant Project Manager with strong communication skills, excellent organizational habits, and a hands-on, team-oriented mindset. You must currently reside in South Florida and be able to have a valid driver’s license, insurance and reliable transportation to the jobsite(s) in South Florida and Corporate Office in Hollywood.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Support the Project Manager with daily administrative and project-coordination tasks.
  • Assist in planning and organizing project activities to meet contract, schedule, and quality requirements.
  • Help prepare and issue subcontracts, purchase orders, and related documentation.
  • Maintain and update project records, including RFIs, submittals, logs, and meeting minutes.
  • Review and track submittals, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and compliance.
  • Support development and maintenance of project schedules with the Project Manager and Superintendent.
  • Assist with processing change orders and tracking budget impacts or additional costs.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to support timely project execution.
  • Track material deliveries and assist with logistics and procurement coordination.
  • Conduct regular jobsite visits to facilitate communication between field and office staff.
  • Attend Owner, Architect, and jobsite meetings; document action items and distribute updates.
  • Use project management tools including Microsoft Office, Procore, and Bluebeam.
  • Ensure permits, compliance documents, and project requirements are tracked and current.
  • Support budget updates, forecasting activities, and cost-control efforts.
  • Promote culture aligned with company values—Relationships, Integrity, Dedication, Excellence.
  • Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications; identify discrepancies and elevate appropriately.
  • Comply with all safety requirements, including OSHA and Coble’s Safety Policies and procedures.
  • Assume project management responsibilities when delegated or required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in high-end residential construction or related field.
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and industry practices.
  • Ability to read drawings, specifications, contracts, and schedules.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; Procore and Bluebeam experience preferred.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and eager to grow in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of safety standards, Lean Construction principles, and best practices.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Strong work ethic, team-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to project sites as required.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

We are seeking a dedicated, highly experienced and detailed-oriented Construction Senior Superintendent with strong interpersonal communication skills along with experience in executing high-end construction and finishes for discriminating designers and clients. This role will work onsite and at times within the Coble office.

The ideal candidate will have proven, demonstrated experience that will create an environment of success as they will be responsible for managing all resources, including vendors, subcontractors, schedule / time, in prioritizing tasks to meet tight deadlines and successfully deliver high-quality projects. This individual reports to the Vice President of Field Operations and must be a promoter, exhibit a high level of integrity and be a strong cultural fit. Must have a depth of knowledge, willingness to learn and teach others, be pro-active, consistent approach and demeanor in delivering excellence in customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safety, compliance and all quality regulations are followed.
  • Demonstrate leadership competencies and an effective communicator.
  • Provide leadership and direction to project field personnel, overseeing the daily operation of the construction project(s).
  • Review contracts, project documentation, and plans to ensure work in the field is built to specifications.
  • Plan and review construction program including plan layout, equipment requirements and manpower.
  • Consistently take site progress photos and upload to Procore.
  • Daily reports and photos of activity for proper recording of construction, for weekly reports to client/owner.
  • Skillful ability to read blueprints, specifications, other technical materials to determine construction requirements or plan procedures.
  • Must be current on all plan revisions, technical information or directives received.
  • Quickly and efficiently identify any discrepancies and immediately communicate with Senior Project Manager and necessary team members.
  • Oversee subcontractor installations, ensuring compliance with construction documents and quality control standards.
  • Manage subcontractors and construction site organization. Including the scheduling, coordination of subcontractors, trades, labor and materials, ensuring high standards and punctuality.
  • Control and coordinate project access, traffic, schedule and maintain records of all project testing and certificates.
  • Site layout and control of benchmarks.
  • Provide role model, effective coaching and support to project team members, with the execution of Mutual Accountability.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management preferred, or related discipline and / or a combination of equivalent experience. Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role within the construction industry.
  • MUST have minimum of both: 10 years construction experience, with a minimum of 5 years experience Luxury Residential projects, preferrable in the South Florida area. Miami Beach experience is highly desirable.
  • Project experience must consist of a minimum of: Luxury Residential Project experience of$15 million+; minimum 10,000 under air square feet
  • Must have successful experience in the full project life cycle completion of a luxury residential project the full project life cycle from ground up to close out.
  • Proficiency in construction management and other softwares such as Procore, BlueBeam, Project Scheduling, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite tools is highly desirable.
  • Minimum 10-hour OSHA certification, 30-hour preferred.
  • Must be able to effectively read, interpret and communicate construction documents including drawings, shop drawings, specifications, contracts and schedules.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory construction standards, construction estimating techniques and contract management.
  • Familiarity with project coordination practices and ability to build effective teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and digitally, with a focus on collaboration and problem-solving.
  • Bi-lingual Spanish / English written and spoken is preferred.
